Abstract: This paper describes a wake-up detector for wireless sensor networks working at 868MHz implemented in UMC CMOS 65 nm process. This receiver includes an impedance matching, an amplifier based on cascode topology combined with LC tank load and an envelope detector. Simulations show that the amplifier and the detector consume 36 µA and 528 nA respectively from a 1.2 V supply.
