Sunil Lalchand Khemchandani was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. In 2000 he received the M.S. degree in Telecommunication Engineer from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and the Ph.D. degree in 2007.
From 1998 he is in the Research Institute for Applied Microelectronics IUMA, at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria . His research work involved GaAs IC’s for video and image processing. From 2001 to 2003 he was working in INCIDE, where he was involved in the modelling of inductors in CMOS technology, designing LNAs for GPS applications, transimpedance amplifiers for SONET/SDH and PLLs for MMDS application. In 2003 he joined the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where he is currently professor.
His research interests include high-frequency integrated circuits for telecommunications, with particular attention to the design of VCOs, LNAs and mixers in CMOS technology.
