Hugo García Vázquez was born in the Canary Islands, Spain. He received the B.S. degree in Telecommunications Engineering and the M.S. degree in Electronic Engineering, in 2006 and 2009, both respectively from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), Spain, and the PhD degree in 2014 at the same University.
Since 2005 he has been with the Microelectronic Technologic Division (RFIC group) of the Institute for Applied Microelectronics IUMA, at the ULPGC. Since 2006 he has been employed in various research projects related to the design of Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits. His research interests include Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits for telecommunications, with particular attention to the design of RF Front-Ends, LNAs and mixers in CMOS technology for wireless applications.
